Wow, it has been awhile since we had wifi, it is hard to believe how we depend in it so much! Anyway, over the past 6 days I have Smelled many things. On fri, the stink of the day was, a skunk. It was a big bad skunk with a heck of a stink. On Saturday, at the hotel, we walked into our room and almost all of us needed to go to the bathroom. My dad walked into the bathroom and immediately left. We saw him make a beeline to the phone to call the front desk about something. We were all suspicious and we all crowded the bathroom. The toilet was almost overflowing with p**p and it smelled soooooooo bad! The manager came in and had to plunge it out. 3 hours later, sam went to the bathroom and when she flushed, all of the toilet water spilled out everywhere and it seeped into the bedroom and the same manger came to clean it out and "fixed" the toilet, but we were to afraid of the toilet to find out if he really did. So that was a big stink of the day! On Sunday, there were a number of stinks, Greg took off his shoes, there were many toots, but the worst stink was when we drove by an oil refinery. Whew! Gross! On mon, we drove into Yellowstone. The stink of the day was sulfur. It smells like rotton eggs and farts. yah. it smells. Yesterday, the stink of the day, was buffallo p**p. I accidentally stepped in it it was a very weird feeling on my foot. (Don't worry! I was wearing shoes!) finally, today's stink of the day was me. I smell bad. No, actually, I just took off my shoes and everybody left the room because the smell so bad! I am taking a shower in 2 minutes. Because. I. Smell. :) I will try to update in the next week, if not, assume I fell off a cliff and died.;) keep posting questions! -Molly

Hey guys! We had a wonderful day today minus all of the cleaning. Today is our last day EVER here at this house. We are all very sad. We went to a concert today up at aspen village! It was awesome! There was a live band, we took 2 1/2 rides up and down the ski pods, and we got free ice cream. What could be better?!? On the way back, we saw a couple elk an a deer that came so close to our car that we could hear him chew. We got a copule pictures And a video of the deer. Tomorow, we would be on the road And off to Utah! Yay! Oh i almost forgot! My stink of the day! Today's stink of the day is... Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I know, depressing huh? Actually, I did have one stink, but it is being censored by my parents at the moment. :( so yah. But I did have an awkward moment of the day! My awkward moment of the day is.... When I thought I saw my aunt meg and I waved to her at the mall, but it turned out it wasn't her, and the person I waved to gave me a funny look. Acco-taco! :) -Molly

Hola everybody! Today we had a quieter day with only a few crazy exciting things happening. We went to a rodeo tonight, and we saw some crazy riders on some crazy horses and bulls. The first rider we saw flipped off his horse and got stepped on and got dragged by his hand halfway across the arena. But he was ok. Now for the stink of the day. This one is really bad. The stink of the day for today is... Porta- pottys. Gross! Greg had to go to the bathroom at the rodeo and so did I. But the only choice I had was the porta-pottys. All my life I tried so hard to avoid them. The last time I went into a porta-potty was when I was 5. Sooo I had to bring Greg to the bathroom and it smelled super bad. I mean SUPER bad. Uhh. I hope I never ever have to go to one of those again. I am glad I did not have an awkward moment of the day, because having an awkward moment is ......awkward. :) -Molly

Wow! Today was a wild and crazy day! We went hiking up a mountain (we got some scars to prove it) we went to aspen village and saw some mountain bikers do some crazy stunts on the ski hill, we explored some epic ice caves and we saw many herds of elk and deer. Wow today was a crazy day I guess what?!? I did not have a awkward moment today! (thankfully) but I did have a stink of the day! (If I didn't, I would be out of business) so today's stink of the day was rotten milk. If you ever had to clean out month old sippy cups full of milk you found under the couch, you probably know what i mean. My dad found it in the fridge and I could smell it many, many rooms away. That is stinky!
And gross. Keep you updated! -Molly

Hey! It it so beautiful here in Snow mass! We spent the day yesterday bike riding, cooking, holding baby puppies 10 days old, hiking, relaxing in the hot tub and watching the hockey game. It was a good day yesterday. So my stink of the day yesterday wasn't that stinky. There was a lingering bad smell of something, i do not know what, at the dog kennel. it wasn't so bad that we needed to plug our noses and make dying whale sounds, but there was a smell. But the upside to the kennel was that we got to hold baby puppies 10 days old! They were adorable and so fluffy. I wanted to keep mine, but I was told I couldn't by the same guy who told us that the wildflowers I picked for my mom were illegal because I picked Colorado's national flower. Oops. Awkward. But we put them in a vase at the house and swore we would not let policemen into the house because they would arrest me for picking "the flower" :) maybe I should begin " Molly's awkward moment of the day" because trust me, I have many awkward moments. :) -Molly

Hey everyone! As everyone probably knows, we are in Aspen! We have smelled a number of smelly things, good smelling, and bad, so I decided to keep track of my stinks of the day! So, ok, on Thursday, the first day of the trip, a garbage truck came and cut us off so that put us in a nice spot at the back of the truck, and boy did that smell! On Friday, the stink of the day was Gary. Gary is not a person (thankfully) not a thing, but a place. Greg's toot factory. there are smoke stacks everywhere "making clouds" uh, we held our noses through the whole city. :) cow city was the stink of the day on saturday. and the name speaks for its self. 3,000,000,000,000 cows in 100 degree heat equals the worst smell in the world. (well, after greg of course!) yesterday, the stink of the day was Greg. It was peacefull And quiet in the car and we were all looking out the window enjoying ourselves until we heard it. And then smelled it. Greg is one guilty tooter. (And smelly!) So far I do not have a stink of the day for today, but I will be sure to keep you updated. :) - Molly

Hi and welcome to my corner of the website! Feel free to comment, ask questions or just say hi!
Ok.
ReplyDeleteHI
ReplyDeleteMolly - please provide commentary on the entertainment options happening in the car. I want to know about games, movies, books, jokes (especially Greg's) etc.
ReplyDeleteHave fun!
BB
Actually, nothing much is happening in the car, we listened to little house on the prairie on tape and played a couple rounds of bus stop and listened to some music, other than that it has been pretty quiet except for Greg and sam's random and obvious questions about everything. If one of those questions come up, our answer is always going to be "we will sacrifice Liam"
DeleteI do NOT have random questions! Liam does!
DeleteUh yah you do, "why is YOUR side prettier than my side of the car? " my answer: "because I sacrificed Liam"
DeleteHey Molls! Draw some pics for me (and Ceci...and Mia...haha!) of some of the things your seeing! Can't wait to hear about everything!!
ReplyDeleteOk! ;)
Delete"dying whale sounds" hahaha you crack me up! i can totally imagine you saying all of this stuff! :)
DeleteNo really, If you drove through Gary you would make dying whale sounds too!
DeleteThen I'm glad that I don't have to! (I don't think we are driving through there on our road trip, but I'm not positive...)
DeleteYou should be glad. ;)
Delete-Molly
Haha! So what are you doing now?
DeleteUmm replying to your question....
DeleteWow you're a smart one. And not a multitasker haha! :)
DeleteHaha!
Delete:) the concert sounded awesome and i'm super jealous of your shopping trip!
DeleteWe stayed for the music for 5 min but the extra stuff we did was awesome! On the shopping trip Marta got millions of things for her family and we browsed all of the high tech sports equipment. It was awesome. :)
DeleteHa! Can't wait to hear (smell) more! :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Molly it's. MP I naver bloged you. I can,t wait to see you. Can you send any pictures?
ReplyDeleteHi MP! I cannot wait to see you as well! Of course I will send you pictures! I can't wait to tell you all of the stories of my adventures! Love you!

Hi Molly! It is Mrs. Marcuci and Maddie. We have both personally experienced Gary's smelliness, though Maddie does not remember it. Can you get any sleep in the car with all the "hooligans" and shenanigans(Maddie's question)?
ReplyDeleteHi guys! Gary smelled really bad as you probably know, Greg was giggling the whole way because it smelled like toots. :) to answer your question, I manage to get some sleep in the car if I put on the noise cancelling head phones. And if nothing exciting is happening outside such as giant storms or if we are driving through big cities. Marta sleeps through all of the exciting parts so we always have to wake her up! I am having a great time and I cannot wait to see you at home!

ReplyDeleteHi Donna! I am awesome thank you. I saw so many things over the past few days, we are going to a rodeo at 6 and I am wearing my cowboy hat to it. (Well I wear it everywhere) we saw skiers on the remaining snow even though it is 97 degrees and they were doing flips on to a big air filled mattress. We also saw some animals such as foxes, elk and a few deer. I totally wish you were here! The road trip is going very well so far, my dad spun Greg on a spinning platform at the park today and now Greg is not feeling too well but other than that, the trip is amazing! I miss you too and I will send you guys a postcard! -molly
