Emily's World

Today was great! The daily hide-and-go-seek-tag with Mary was funny. She is the seeker and I hide. I always win. The only reason that I win is that she is slow on the stairs. We walked around Aspen. It is so pretty, I mean pretty! I bought things. After that we went to a rodeo they had little kids riding sheep,  so cute! then they had bull riders, bucking broncos, and so much more!

    2. Hi Becky, The trip is going great! The house that we are staying at is amazing! It is so big! The hotels all have breakfast, but no pancake machine. The drives are goo. long, but good. how is it in Massachusetts?

  3. Emily -

I'd like updates on the progress of the license plate game. Maybe once you get to Chicago ... what states are you still missing etc? And I'd like to know how things are going in the Rowans' car since probably you'll spend some quality time there entertaining Danny and Mary. Do they still have that silly little ball thing we played with??

    Have fun!

    1. Hi Betsy!!!!!!! The license plate game is going great! We have all but 7. We found Alaska plates on 2 trucks The Rowans car is a party! The ball game is still going on, but Mary wants to play, and she thinks the object of the game is to intercept the ball and chuck it at the driver. I know a big safety hazard. So Danny and I have to do sneaky shoots when Mary is not looking. How is it in your world?

    1. Clara!!!!!!!!!!! It is fine that you did not comment before.(I forgot about the blog until today. And I paniced.) I did not know I made you laugh in the car ride to school! I do not know if you will call seeing 30+ elk and a deer crossing the road in front of us crazy. How is life in your house?

    2. Haha I know. But it's fine I know you guys are busy having SO much fun! :) and believe me, you do ;) when we aren't all exhausted hahaha. Well I'd say that's pretty crazy compared with what I see on the road, which is just cars. Life here is pretty good. For the past few days, the mornings have been really relaxing cuz the weather is beautiful, but then in the evenings there's thunder and lightening and rain. Simon and Jonah just finished school yesterday, and Sam and Ceci finish up next week with Framingham.

    3. Wow. Today we went to a rodeo. The opening cowboy got hurt, the horse jumped on him! The EMT came out and brought a stretcher. Thankfully he walked off of the arena, under his own power. The rest of the show was great! No one else got hurt. Keep me posted on things happening in your family.

    4. I heard! Sounds so fun!! Except for the people that were in it...haha. I'm glad that you had fun and that the cowboys are okay. :) Simon and Jonah are going to camp on Sunday, so I'll be stuck at home with the little kids and my parents for a couple weeks.

  6. Hi Emily! It is Mrs. Marcucci and Maddie. What fun you are having! What is your favorite game to play in the car? Do you switch back and forth between Auntie Meg's car and yours? Keep up the blogging! This is great!

  7. Hi!!!!The road trip so far has been great! My favorite game to play in the car is spaceship/airplane. I play this in Meg and Jims car with Danny and Mary. You have to put on the headphones for the TV then you get the "control panel" and we have to check if the pilot is ready(Danny) then the co-pilot(me) then the co-co-pilot (Mary. her job is to make "hot chocolate"!) Then we take of to planet Lexicon. It is so much fun. How is it in Medfield?

Thankfully! I did not hear the thunderstorms, were they bad? The mountains are amazing I miss you too! Keep me posted about events in your family.

  10. If you Marta and your sisters collect something that fascinates you on your trip, like the different color rocks you found in Aspen, we can try and make it into a pendant when you get back.

    Love ya
